About
I'm Alex Blair, a software engineer exploring console applications and game development.
I spend a lot of my time exploring C++, C#, Go, game development, graphics, backend systems, developer tooling, and Linux with Omarchy. I especially like projects that give me an opportunity to experience computing the way it felt when I was a kid: exciting, curious, and new.
Outside of programming, I'm an avid strategy gamer. It's one of my favorite genres, even if it has become a little niche. I practice kendo, a form of Japanese fencing, ski in the winter, brew a good cup of coffee, and spend plenty of time with my two cats.
PixelBrewer is where I write about what I'm learning, document projects I'm working on, and share the things I find interesting along the way.
You can find more of my work on GitHub.
